1. HOW TO APPLY?
If you want to apply for an Undergraduate course, the first step to apply is filling out the pre-application form here and when it’s for you to access the platform and upload the required documents, we will get back to you and give the necessary guidance in order to complete the application process.
If you are interested in applying for a Master Degree, please access to the programme website and enter APPLICATIONS.
Access and admission conditions
- Holders of a qualification which, in the country in which it was obtained, gives them the right to apply and enter higher education in that country;
- Holders of a Portuguese secondary education diploma or legally equivalent qualification.
Have academic qualifications in the areas of knowledge required for the study cycle to which they are applying.
Application and required documents
The application for the special international student access and admission contest is made online on the NOVA School of Science and Technology academic management system (CLIP), by filling out an application form and uploading the following documents:
- 1. Identification document (e.g, passport), mentioning the candidate's nationality;
- 2. Document proving the candidate's current adress;
- 3. Teaching / training diplomas / certificates, namely the qualification that gives access to higher education in the country of origin, with grades and final average;
- 4. Statement on how the candidate complies with the international student status;
- 5. Document confirming payment of the application fee.

Application fee

The application process will only be evaluated if the applicants have paid the application fee. Unpaid applications will be automatically deleted. Multibanco references are automatically generated when the application is submitted.
Proof of payment, made by bank transfer, must be submitted with the remaining application documents. The bank transfer must be identified with the applicant’s full name.
This fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
Value: € 51

International applicants who cannot use this payment method will have to pay the fee by bank transfer, attaching the proof, with their full name and the name of the first account holder, to the application documentation, before clicking the submit button.
